Turkey Burgers

Tonight for supper we are having Deceptively Delicious’ Turkey Burgers #1.  This is Jessica Seinfeld’s first cookbook.  They are just sitting in the bowl because Greg says I make the burgers to small so we are waiting for him to get home from work to get them burger ready and on the barbecue.
These are amazing burgers.  We get compliments every time we have them and they are so quick and easy to make.  And so very tasty.  I had to make a few adjustments to the recipes as I forgot we used up the zucchini and bread crumbs yesterday.
1lb lean ground turkey (I had to use chicken as we had no turkey left)
½ lb white button mushrooms, trimmed + chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs (I used oatmeal because I used all the panko crumbs yesterday on the fish)
¼ cup chopped or grated zucchini (we also had this for supper yesterday so i used grated carrot)
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
½ tsp salt
⅛  tsp pepper
1.  In a large bowl mix all ingredients.  It should be moist.
2.  Spray down your grill or barbecue because it will stick
3.  Cook until done and serve with a bun.
We are having ours with coleslaw and beans.  Gotta take advantage of this summer like weather in March while we can.  Give this recipe a try the next time you make burgers.  You will not be disappointed!
