I find Netflix to be extremely overwhelming. There is just so much selection that I get too overwhelmed and turn it off and go do something else.
The Ranch - This is a Netflix original and stars Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson both from That 70's Show fame. I delayed watching it for a long time but decided to give it a try during one of my stretch sessions and it was pretty funny. It had a great soundtrack and several Tom Brady references. How could you not love it? It is only 10 episodes long and the season finale was almost heart breaking. I do hope it comes back for a second.
Flaked - This one stars Will Arnet who is canadian and I love him and it is set in Venice which is one of my favourite places ever. It is also a Netflix original and 10 episodes long but it doesn't get good until Episode 7 or 8 and then it's really good and quite surprising - at least for me. I do recommend this one but be patient with it because patience is key.
Love - This is also a Netflix original and is created by Judd Apatow. It was also 10 episodes I believe and it is ok. Like flaked, it took me awhile to finish it. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. I did like Gus who is the main guy in the show so that helped. I watched this one when it first came out but I think I also liked this more the further I got to the end of the season.
Master of None - This is starring Aziz Ansari who is just fabulous. He was Tom on Parks and Recreation and killed it. It's hard to explain how awesome this show is but it just is. Really if you haven't watched it you should. This was a netflix original and has - yup you guessed it - 10 episodes. This one has a second season coming out in 2017. And the ending to the season finale is nothing short of sad and wonderful at the same time. So excited for season 2.
Orange Is The New Black - Most likely everybody has watched this show. I have watched the first 3 seasons but not season 4. I didn't like Season 3 but I heard Season 4 was really good. Hopefully Ig et around to watching it eventually. Also a Netflix Original.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - This is a Netflix original and was created and is written by Tina Fey and Robert Lock both from SNL + 30 Rock fame. It also stars Ellie Kemper who was Erin on The Office and the amazing Tituss Burgess. The first season started out great then dipped and then got better again at the end. Season 2 came out in April but I have not watched it yet. I do look forward to watching though!!
House of Cards - It is a Netflix original and currently has 4 seasons with a 5th slated for the new year. We didn't watch this one originally and binge watched the first season in less then a week so we could watch Season 2 when it came out. The first 2 seasons were great, Season 3 was terrible until the end and Season 4 was pretty good too. It was informative given this year's presidential election haha.
The Office - I mean what can I say. The Office is golden - especially in the earlier seasons. Basically anything before Michael Scott left and moved away. I watch this show repeatedly becauseI love it so much. We don;t have a TV on our main floor so when I am cooking or something I will put on The Office to watch.
Arrested Development - This show was taken over by Netflix for one season and it was the worst season by far. We never ever finished it. It is still on Netflix but don't watch the last season, it's disappointing.
Weeds - This is not a Netflix original. I think it was on Showtime originality. The first season is amazing and kinda goes down hill after that. Again like Arrested Development, the final season is perhaps the worst season finale ever so if you do watch it, skip that season. It pretty much ruins everything.
Call The Midwife - This is a british show about midwives way back when in rural england. I love it but it is a little slow. I don't binge watch this show but I do it enjoy it every once in awhile. It originated on PBS and is still on television. The first 3 seasons are on Netflix and I am anxiously awaiting the 4th soon.
Suits - This is a showtime show or maybe Bravo?? I don't really know. I watched it and loved the first 3 seasons I think and the most season added to Netflix was soul crushing and they literally ruined the show in my opinion. I will not be watching this show ever again.
Mad Men - I watched this show before it went to Netflix. I loved Don Draper something fierce until I didn't and then it was hard to watch it because I genuinely didn't like him. I was glad when was finally over. I was telling Greg at the end of one of the seasons that after rallying for Don and loving him I had finally come to hate him and he told me that the creators and writers of the show and had never wanted Don to be liked and it took them a long time before people finally didn't.
Cuckoo - Season 1 was great because it has Andy Samberg in it. Season 2 had the guy from Twilight and I never finished watching it. Season 3 I didn't bother with. I recommend you watch Season 1 and stop right there. It is a british comedy.
Lovesick - Another British comedy and they say it was a netflix original but I don't know if it is completely true. When it was first on Netflix it was called Scrotal Recall. It is super funny and I have been waiting 2 years for a second season and I am starting to give up all hope.
Pretty Little Liars - I am currently watching this show and I don't mind it but I cannot believe that they have made 7 seasons so far of this show. I actually googled for spoilers because I was so impatient but I was told not to believe everything I read so I am undecided if I will continue with it or not.
I thought I had watched a lot more TV shows that what I have listed here but I guess not. I have loads more on my list that I need to get around to watching one of these days. My list is as overwhelming as the selection on Netflix itself hahaha.
What are your favourite TV shows currently on Netflix that I may have missed and need to watch??
