This I ordered online from well.ca. You can buy this size for $30 or a bigger size for $60. I chose the smaller size and I am quite happy about it. I have been looking for this for a long time and one of my friends posted theirs on Instagram and so I asked her where I could find one and I ordered it right that minute. Chapters also carries the larger size as well as additional letters in both black and colourful ones. We change it up every time something happens in our house. It arrived the day before I ran my first 10km in 6 months and so I used it to celebrate this haha. When Finley won gold at City Championships we had Gold Medal Finley on it. She was very proud of it.
I was so bored eating my apples and yogurt out of cereal bowls and decided to do something about it. I was actually inspired by Chip + Joanna Gaines on Fixer Upper when they were all eating ice cream out of cute bowls on the porch. So I headed out and found a few and over the course of a few weeks, I was able to track down 8 which I think is a good number. I tried to stick in the colour family of black, white and grey because it goes well with my white dishes. The three bottom on the right are a little bigger then the other 5 but I still like them a lot. They were $3.99 and I found them at Winners, HomeSense and Marshalls.
I was in desperate need of some new socks so I ordered a pair off of the Lululemon app and found a pretty pair of socks to buy. I normally wear just speed socks but all they had online were boring white and I hate white socks so I decided to try light speed socks. I probably can't run in them since there is no cushion at all but they will be good for bootcamp. Socks here can be pricy but they are actually cheaper then both the Running Room and MEC so I can justify it a lot more.
I found this shirt at Winners and knew instantly I had to have it. The only thing that would make it more perfect would be if the trailer was pink and the writing the colour of the trailer. But still I love it and it fits great.
Lastly I bought this skipping rope which is my most recent purchase at Winners. I read online that it burns 10 to 6 calories a minute. And if you work your jump rope exercise into three 10 minute rounds, you could burn around 480 calories. I have no idea if this is true or not and that is not even the reason I bought it but I did find it interesting. I bought to make my calves stronger since I am a toe runner and it puts soooooo much pressure on my calves and achilles tendons. I found it at winners for $8. If you haven't noticed yet, winners is my favourite store in Calgary. Only because I haven't made it down to Simons yet haha.
Have you purchased anything amazing lately??
