What I Streamed In April

With the weather getting warmer and spending more time outside and not on the treadmill, I didn't stream a whole lot in April.  I also caught up on a lot of stuff on the pvr after the kids went to bed plus there was/is both NBA + NHL playoff action on TV too.

This came out in early April and I was so excited to be able to stream it.  It was a lot different from Season 1 but still kinda the same.  It is still raunchy but hilarious and I highly recommend that you watch it if you are looking for something to stream.  It has only 2 seasons and short seasons.  It is available to stream on Netflix Canada.

My sister had recommended this movie to me and I came across it randomly one evening after the kids went to bed.  I honestly didn't think I would like it but it turned out to be pretty good.  It wasn't too long and I stayed interested in it the whole time. I streamed it on the Shaw Free Range up but it is probably available on your on demand services with your television provider.

Greg and I also watched the second episode of season 4 of OITNB.  We are sooooo behind on this and doubt very much we will be caught up by the time season 5 starts in June especially with both House of Cards, Master of None and Kimmy Schmidt all coming out with new seasons in May.  It is gonna be tough haha.

I ended April with streaming the entire season of Girl Boss. It was really good although it took me a few episodes to actually like her.  It was written + created for Netflix by Kay Cannon who was a writer on both 30 Rock and The New Girl.  She is fabulous.  Charlize Theron was also a producer.  My favourite character in the movie was her best friend Annie and I loved her love for Britney.  I get it Annie, I really do.  I enjoyed the series so much that I went and bought the girl boss book for $15 at Chapters.  I haven't read it yet and most likely it will accompany me on our summer road trip in July. This is available to stream on Netflix Canada and I definitely recommend and keep your fingers crossed for a possible second season!

What did you guys watch this month?  Any good recommendations?
