January By The Numbers - Sweat Edition

January, you were a great month but man was my body tired by the time we got to the end!!  I tripled my run total from December 2017 and I definitely felt it.  Here's a look at what I did!


900 - km I want to run in 2018
75 - the minimum I need to run each month 
81 - the amount of km ran in January
6 - ahead of my goal going into February 
813 - km left to run


13 - days ran in January 
1 - run skipped the last sunday of the month because my body needed a rest
6 - runs outside in a variety of weather conditions
47.7 - km ran outside



1 - challenge fully completed 
40 - distance in km needed to finish challenge


7 - runs on the treadmill 
10.24 - km ran in one run on a treadmill (new record)
33.30 - total km ran on treadmill

1 - child who keeps stealing my bands haha

2  - times I had to use a lacrosse ball to dig deep in my itb


3 - times I cross country skied

2 - times at a golf course
1 - time in Kananaskis 

8 - times I did my 30 day challenge haha
300 - squats 
108 - push ups

151 - seconds of plank

0 - times I did core on my own haha

27 - days active

Goals for February:
1) Run at least 75km. February is always my lowest run total (not including injury months)
2) Stretch, Strengthen + Roll out at least 20x
3) A core challenge of some kind
